The last week or so has been really trying and sometimes when I am aggravated it is best for me to just not say anything at all. We are still in the hospital and after many questions concerning Bella's kidney, this urinoma, and all the chemo she will receive, and how it will effect her. We have finally gotten some real answers. The "I don't knows" and the "that's a good question"does not sit well with me. Dr. E, Bella's stem cell transplant doctor, was out of town this weekend, but she is back and has done her best to ease our anxiety about how the chemo will effect Bella. We are using a less harsh chemo than normal protocol calls for but it has great results and less side effects. The rest is up to God, I guess that is just how cancer works. You do what you can and the rest is in Gods hands, it is very scary for a parent and I would give my heart and soul to trade places with her. The next few weeks will be such a rough road, one that a 2 year old should never have to travel. Please keep her in your daily prayers that she has minimal side effects from this chemo and that no infections arise. That she gets through it and in the end of it all the cancer will be completely gone. Thank you everyone for the support, the cards, bringing us food and Bella presents, it really is appreciated. We can not thank you enough.
